Dale Earnhardt Jr. understands the significance of the long-term relationship between Martinsville Speedway and Goody’s and was excited when he found out the two had renewed their partnership for the Goody’s Headache Relief Shot 500. “The great thing about the Martinsville-Goody’s relationship is that it goes back over so many years. It really shows the kind of devotion that Goody’s has to the sport and to the Martinsville racetrack and the area,” said Earnhardt, a student of the history of the sport. “They’re very proud of that relationship and they’ve grown it over the years. It’s been very productive for them and you just sort of associate one with the other: Martinsville and Goody’s.” Martinsville Speedway President Clay Campbell and Joseph Juliano, Brand Director, Goody’s, announced this week that the long relationship would continue with the renewal of Goody’s sponsorship for the fall NASCAR Sprint Cup race for 2016.
